Anybody that knows me personally or follows my blog knows that I love babywearing. Wearing my son close and being able to get things done makes for a happy mommy and a happy baby. So when Ack wrap and I discussed review I was of course over the moon.

Ack wrap was created by a labor and delivery nurse and a mom herself. She created the product so you could wear your baby hands free and be stylish. Ack wrap is 100% USA made based out of Texas. It is made from modal and cotton blends and is lightweight and breathable. She came up with the idea when they were in Nantucket and a stroller was too hard to push on the cobblestone walk ways. That is where Ack came from. Ack is the airport code for Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The Ack wrap is one size fits most at about 17 feet long. The weight limit is 8-25 pounds due to its lightweight nature. If your newborn is less then 8 pounds at birth then they suggest only using the wrap for bonding purposes and doing little walking around. The Ack wrap is only for wearing your baby in the front. A stretchy wrap should not be used to carry your child on your back. The wraps have passed third party ASTM testing.

When I first received the wrap I was amazed at how soft it was! The fabric was so light in my hands. The tested weight for this wrap is 25 pounds, and Lex is 23 pounds. He was a bit uncomfortable for his size, but keep in mind I am also 28 weeks pregnant so it is very hard to wear him on my front. When my lovely model, Mary, wrapped her son she was amazed at how light and easy to wrap it was. This wrap is perfect for this tiny babies that want to be held close! I love the design and how stylish it is and I love the button middle marker. I am already familiar with wrapping so I had no problem wrapping him up but the "How to" also comes in the pamphlet and is easy to follow.

This wrap is going to be amazing when Jack makes his arrival this July. I have no worries that either of us will over heat while I am wearing him and chasing after his older brother. This wrap will be very well loved in our house!
